Inch House Ireland’s History
Inch House Ireland is the most exclusive and luxurious guest accommodations and vacation rental in the heart of Ireland. Stay in the most loved Irish home and make it yours! We are blissfully located in the secluded valley of Stradbally, overlooking the Stradbally River banks. The Originally house was a cosy thatched house dating back to the early 17th century.
Most of our six guest bedrooms are etched in as part of the original house and you as our guest get to feel like a part of our ever-growing history.
Inch House Ireland was formerly a branch off the Ballykilcavan Estate dating back to penal times under the ownership of Sir Hunt Walsh.
The House was originally built in 1702 and then the house was extended in 1820 again and a beautiful and delicate conservatory was added, which is now an integral space for all our guests to enjoy. And the most recent extension was added in 1978, the oldest part of the house still stands in all its entirety.
The conservatory had many purposes such as a cinema room, afternoon tea rooms, lounge, and a dining room.
We love talking about the history of our home and even more so we are thrilled to be making history!
We are awaiting your arrival soon with a warm, wholesome, and hearty welcome.
