Best stay in Ireland so far!
I cannot praise the Fitzpatrick family’s hospitality enough. We received the warmest welcome. The fire was lit, fuel stocked, wine, milk, jam etc were in the fridge. A huge chocolate Easter egg gift was on the table. Besides all this, the house itself is gracefully done up and very comfortable to live in. We stayed here for two weeks and will stay another 3 in June. The family is very warm, helpful, friendly and generous to the extreme. Margaret seems like I have always known her!
There was nothing they wouldn’t do for us. She drove my son early morning to catch the train. She drives me whenever I need to shop. Michael even bought a freezer as I waNted to stock ice cream! Michael is born to be in the hospitality business. He has taken care of the smallest things one could think of.
In our last three trips to Ireland, we have stayed at many self catering places but this one is the quite simply the best!
My-self and the family stayed here for the some of the holidays season. The property was very easy find despite us being from the city 🌃 The place was ideal for a family getaway. The living area is so large and inviting. The main shower room was just amazing, what a rain shower! The welcome pack was unexpected and charming, had all the essential amenities.
‘Inch House was the perfect stay, being so close to The Electric Picnic festival site. Margaret and Michael made it very comfortable and were excellent hosts and I felt very at home, we’ll be back next year!’
“Beautiful place, clean and neat, with a flawless host. Margaret was very approachable and very easy to communicate with making it an enjoyable stay. She even have us a lift in the morning. If you are in this area you must stay here, it’s gorgeous. ”
“Inch House is a beautiful property. I was attending Electric Picnic and choose to stay at Inch House as it was nearby the festival (less than 10 minutes away). On arrival we were greeted by the lovely owner Margaret and Rosie, the gorgeous family dog who was very friendly! The property was homely and comfortable set in the stunning countryside and away from main roads and noise so a perfect escape after a day at the festival. The facilities were perfect and our room had everything we needed, we even got a chocolate on our pillow when we returned at night. Margaret and her son Michael were very accommodating and Margaret kindly arranged for her niece to drop us in to the festival gates. I would highly recommend Inch House and hope to return next year for Electric Picnic 2019.”
Great house, very quiet and homey on a working farm. The hosts were flexible in adjusting my sleeping arrangements when I decided to add an extra night. The location was perfect for Ballintubbert House for the concerts I attend. Loved the house, will definitely return again If I’m in the area again.
This is a beautiful peaceful place to stay for a few days.. our only problem was we couldn’t give it 10 stars as five is not enough.. we are already planing our next trip already.. Thanks for all the extras Ps. The bed is so so comfortable. We recommend Eddie & Margaret 100% 😃
